Gammill machines
It is my opinion that the Gammill frame is the best quilting frame around, and the same goes for their machines because of the wonderful stitch quality formed by their unique stitch regulator.

It is also my opinion that there is no better computerized system than the Gammill with the Statler added.

The quilting frame of the Gammill longarms creates the most useable quilting space, and the flattest layout which I believe lets one get done faster and with a much flatter finished quilt than with other frames of other companies. It just seems intuitive that if the quilt lays flat while quilting, it comes out flatter when done.

Gammill has introduced another innovation recently they call the Vision model. It comes in several sizes and has a unique screen on the front that has some nifty options. You favorite stitch settings can be saved, touching the key pad can engage or releast the needle down position, one can touch a camera icon and be able to watch the backside of the quilt onscreen to be sure they stitch in no folds or get bad looking stitch quality after bobbin refills, etc. It is cool. Oh, I think you can listen to music with the Vision features too. Pretty nifty!

Due to the new model, there seems to be an increase in trade ins by those wanting to step up to a new model, allowing more used machines to be made available. Gammill used machines have a one year warranty and new have four year warranties.

If you really want the cat's meow model, you really want the Statler added to your Gammill machine. The new Creative Studio program cannot be outdone. It is absolutely incredible what can be done in this program. Patterns will never stitch out where you don't want them anymore because all can be set up onscreen in exact replica of the quilt. No more surprises, especially not the ones that make you frown and start ripping out badly placed designs. PLUS Gammill is determined to keep making new software free. When the Creative Studio program came out that replaces the old program called Precision Stitch, those with a Statler received the program for free. Well, I think we needed to send in $10 to get the program on CD since it was too large to download, but these days, that is nearly free. Who else does this? Downloadable updates are free too.

There is so much more to talk about, a face to face meeting, and trying the machine is what you really need before purchasing a longarm machine. Why not set an appointment right now?

I represent Accomplish Quilting, Inc. as I said earlier. I am just an arm of their organization to make your purchasing easier and your learning a bit closer to home. It is just to make life a bit easier on our customers. The company still delivers the machines and sets them up for you, warranty is still the same. You get help from me as well as them after delivery. You can go get your intermediate training either in Michigan or here at my studio in southern Indiana. Generally the classes there are group classes and here it is generally one on one. Usually we can accomplish as much in a day as they do in two.

I have been trained in the Creative Studio software used by the Statler program of my machine, and trained in handguiding of machines also. Because of this, I am a capable teacher whether you decide on a handguided model or a computer driven Statler model. Learning how to use your machine to the best advantage makes using a quilting machine so much more enjoyable, and learning it near your own home with less driving is even better..

Call if you want to find out about all the wonderful features of a longarm Gammill machine. I will do my best to answer your questions.

I work out of my home studio, so an appointment is necessary to insure that other pressing matters may not have taken me away for a while.
